For my wife and I, we bought 2 copies of Oh, the Places You’ll Go by Dr. Suess when our kids started Kindergarten and have asked every teacher along the way to secretly write a message in the book for FUTURE GRADUATE kids. My daughter graduated last year and got her book, so the secret is out. When my son graduates in a few weeks - it won’t be a surprise for him like it was for my daughter, but I bet he has the same reaction! We have read the notes a few times and still find it hard not to tear up when looking through the heartfelt messages from the many wonderful teachers who have meant so much to our kids over the years.
